The luxury house announces the appointment of the American actor as a new brand face with a first campaign featuring the Tambour watch.
Louis Vuitton: the Tambour Twenty on American time.
A few days after the merger between Fendi and Karim Benzema, it is Louis Vuitton’s turn to strengthen its masculine representations with the signing of a contract with bradley coopernine-time Oscar nominee.
This nomination is embodied these days in a very first joint campaign aimed at celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Tambour wristwatch, an emblematic model in Louis Vuitton’s watch catalog. Available in a collector’s version “Drum Twenty”, this edition limited to 200 copies here incorporates an LV277 high-frequency automatic chronograph movement and an oscillating weight of 22 carats while the timepiece is packaged in an exclusive trunk-case in Monogram canvas.
The first images of this collaboration were released this week on the brand’s various channels.
The campaign film is from award-winning director Damien Chazelle – La La Land, Whiplash… – while the pictures are by photographer Boo George.
