We know that our viticulture and agricultural practices can make a difference

We are aware of the need to protect ecosystems and we know that our viticulture and agricultural practices can make a difference. This is why for more than 20 years, we have been adapting our practices to comply with the most rigorous environmental certifications on our different terroirs around the world. We have also accelerated our initiatives to promote biodiversity: we are convinced that acting both on the reduction of inputs while promoting biodiversity will allow us to regenerate the soil. When we talk about ecosystems, we talk about balance: the challenge is to work to preserve it through different levers. We are currently testing several initiatives in our different terroirs such as the establishment of plant cover, agroforestry, the development of ecological corridors… We have also initiated organic and biodynamic plots a few years ago, we make eco-grazing, controlled pollination… Our vision of regenerative viticulture is to put soil health at the heart of our priorities and to protect ecosystems. And it’s not that simple: that’s why we work with experts to help us with this, such as PADV, ReNature, ReforestAction… It’s also the reason why we decided to create a dedicated event to soil regeneration, the World Living Soils Forum. We brought together more than 400 people in Arles at the beginning of June around 100 speakers who shared their knowledge, their initiatives, their questions on these subjects. We are all aware that we need to move towards regenerative agriculture and viticulture and that to accelerate and scale up, we will need to be together.
